Best (CHEAP!) Boat Tour in Split, Croatia

One of the most iconic things to do in Croatia, and especially Split, is to go on a boat tour! There are countless options for boats to go on in Split. However, most of them will cost you an arm and a leg and not even be worth it! When I went to Split, I was searching high and low for a boat trip that would have food, drinks, and let me explore a bit more of the islands around Split! And I stumbled upon the perfect one. Get ready for the best boat tour in Split, Croatia! Not only is it SO fun, but its nearly a third of the price of the other tours!

  • Disclaimer: if you’re looking for a party boat, this is not going to be that. We were mainly surrounded by teenagers and families, but it was so nice and chill! Rather than a crazy time, it was a restful and beautiful experience looking at the mountains and exploring little towns!

You also get LUNCH and FREE UNLIMITED WINE on this tour. You can buy extra drinks, but they’re pretty expensive!

Your Tour!

You start off on the boat exploring the ocean around the coast! I laid in the sun on the deck and listened to music; it was so lovely! I also made some buddies from Finland. The staff gave us free donuts which were BOMB.

Your first stop is an old shipwreck. You get included snorkeling gear and can swim in the crystal blue waters with paddle boards and tubes. The ship sunk pretty recently (in the last 50ish years), but it’s still pretty cool. Then you can sit on the rocks on the shore and sunbathe!

Your next stop is an island that you can explore. It’s a little town known for their olive oil. There’s also a beach with beautiful water and a little beach bar. It’s a great place to relax and explore! There are also cafes, restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, and little souvenir places!

Watch out for the sea urchins! The light blue waters attracts a ton of these little buddies. They are everywhere. I wore my water shoes while swimming to avoid getting poked.

There is also a grocery store on the island. I went and got some snacks and drinks!

Your last stop is a “blue lagoon.” It’s a beach with beach chairs and beautiful water that you can swim in and explore! Again, be mindful of the pokey little motherfreakers. You can paddle around on paddle boards and float in tubes and jump off the dock! It’s so nice and restful!
